Earlier this month, 13News Now spoke with Shawanna Bailey, the owner of Coasters Beach Grill, who said the man shot was one of the restaurant's security guards and that Saturday was her first day of work.

Bailey said that around 11:40 p.m., a customer walked out of the restaurant without paying a bill of about $50. Bailey said the security guard followed the customer outside, and that's when the customer pulled out a gun and shot the security guard.
