Man arrested in north Columbus for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography

Timothi Cramer is charged with sex pimping of a minor and is currently incarcerated in the Franklin County Jail.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 43-year-old man was arrested Thursday by Columbus police for alleged possession of child pornography.

Franklin County Municipal Court records show Google submitted a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on March 26 regarding child sexual abuse material sent through its service. Google reported that the user, identified as Timothi Cramer, had nearly 400 files.

Investigators traced the IP address to an address in the 2000 block of Indianola Avenue, near Summit Street.

SWAT members from the Columbus Division of Police executed a search warrant and arrest warrants at the scene. The warrants were for the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Columbus Police Exploited Children Unit.

Cramer possessed several videos and images showing children being sexually assaulted, according to court records. He is also accused of producing child pornography. Investigators say he had regular contact with one of the children he was responsible for caring for.

Cramer is charged with complicity in sexual matters involving a minor and is currently incarcerated in the Franklin County Jail. He could face additional charges as evidence is examined.

Police said Cramer was previously incarcerated in Florida from 2006 to 2022 for aggravated child abuse and torture.
