Man arrested in connection with Miami Shores golf course robbery linked to nationwide crime wave, police say – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

SHORES OF MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) – A 54-year-old man was arrested by Miami Shores police in connection with a May 30 theft at a local golf course where items including a Rolex watch, a firearm and documents personal identities, were stolen from a golf cart. during the game.

Police say Ivan Urquiza, also known as “Philip Vincente,” is wanted in several states for similar crimes and has been evading authorities since 2013.

Urquiza was arrested June 4 after he was found in possession of stolen property, using surveillance footage and license plate scanning technology.

Investigations revealed that Urquiza used sugardaddy.com to exploit young women and frequented golf courses across the country for criminal purposes, according to police.

This arrest also allegedly links him to another offense that occurred on January 15 in Miami Shores.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes Urquiza or has been a victim of similar incidents to contact the Miami Shores Police Department's Investigations Division.
