Man arrested for failure to identify and interference with public duties in Houston | Texas

Houston, TX – Deputies from Officer Mark Herman's office conducted a traffic stop on June 12, 2024 in the 700 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy W.

The driver gave the deputy a false name. Upon further investigation, he was positively identified as Paris Goodwin, who had an open arrest warrant from North Carolina for a probation violation related to dangerous drugs. While in the Harris County Jail, he refused to be fingerprinted or photographed and threatened officers.

“Paris Goodwin was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of Failure to Identify – Fugitive and Interference with Public Functions. His bond was set at $200.00 for both charges filed in court in County 9,” Officer Mark Herman said.
