Man arrested and charged after robbing two banks in Apopka

A man was arrested for robbing two Fifth Third Banks in Apopka, according to the Apopka Police Department. The suspect was identified as 45-year-old Taylor Cale Mizelle. Officials say a robbery occurred Monday shortly after noon at the Fifth Third Bank at 1725 S Orange Blossom Trail. APD said there were no injuries resulting from the incident. Through investigative efforts, Apopka officers said they were able to identify the suspect and obtained a search warrant for his home. Apopka officers said the suspect confessed to the May 20 Fifth Third Bank robbery. and another bank robbery of the Fifth Third Bank on May 8. Mizelle is currently incarcerated in the Orange County Jail and charged with two robberies of Fifth Third Bank in Apopka.
