Man and woman arrested in Elbridge in possession of illegal weapons

On June 14, 2024, the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Team (VGNET), along with uniformed members, executed a search warrant at 1374 Powerhouse Road, town of Elbridge, following a 911 call regarding a physical altercation. and threatening a victim with a handgun.

James C. Beaulieu, 59 years old, from Onondaga, New York and Shannon K. Beaulieu, 45, of Onondaga, New York, were arrested. Following the search warrant, the following items were seized:

Diamondback Assault Rifle, Polymer 80 “Ghost” 9mm Handgun, Winchester .12 Gauge Shotgun, Four .223 High Capacity Ammo Feeders, Three High Capacity 9 Ammunition Feeders mm, a dagger, a set of metal knuckles and a baton.

James C. Beaulieu was charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (a class “C” felony)

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (a class “D” felony)

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (a class “D” felony)

Threatening 2^sd (a class “A” misdemeanor)

Harassment 2^sd (Breach)

Shannon K. Beaulieu was charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (a class “C” felony)

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (a class “D” felony)

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (a class “D” felony)

Both suspects were transported to SP Lysander and arraigned in Onondaga County CAP Court.

Mr. Beaulieu was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $25,000 cash bail, $50,000 surety bond and $75,000 partially secured bond. .

Ms. Beaulieu was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond and $25,000 partially secured bond.
