Man accused of alleged sex with teenage girl | Crime reports

Dornsife, Pennsylvania. — An 18-year-old Dornsife man has been charged with sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl in Northumberland County.

Aidan Joseph Fritchey was charged with several crimes after a member of the girl's family reported the alleged sexual incidents to state police in Stonington on May 6. According to Trp. Ryan Murray, Fritchey and the girl began a sexual relationship when she was 14 years old.

Police interviewed the girl, who told them she had sex with Fritchey three times since March 2023, according to the affidavit. She allegedly slipped out of her home around 1 a.m. during these encounters when Fritchey came to pick her up in his vehicle. She also allegedly gave money to Fritchey.

Murray interviewed Fritchey on May 21 at the police station. Fritchey admitted to having sex with the girl on three occasions, with the most recent encounter taking place in early May. Fritchey told police the sex was consensual, according to the affidavit.

Fritchey was charged with felony statutory sexual assault of a person 11 years of age or older, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault of a person under 16 and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. District Judge Rachel Wiest-Benner set bail at $25,000 unsecured. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 11 at Wiest-Benner's office.
