Man, 58, in critical condition after stabbing in East New York, police say

A man is fighting for his life after police say he was stabbed Tuesday night in East New York.

According to the NYPD, officers found a 58-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive around 10:30 p.m. on Hegeman Avenue, near the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police said the victim was stabbed once in the right bicep and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. The suspect is on the run.
