Maihar Temple: bodies of Maihar temple identified | Bhopal News

Bhopal: The three decomposed bodies, believed to be at least four months old and found in the jungle behind Sharda Devi temple in Maihar district on Sunday evening, have been identified as locals of Sidhi Monday. The two men were the sons of the woman whose body was also found. They were identified as Chotki Saket, 56, and his sons Rajkumar, 23, and Deepak, 26. CSP Maihar Rajeev Pathak said, “As soon as the news broke on social media groups, a family from Sidhi district contacted us. They informed that two men and a woman who happens to be their mother are missing. The timing and description matched those of the deceased. They also informed that the deceased had been missing for 5 months.” Pathak added, “The family members later came and identified them. At first glance, it appears to be a case of suicide, but the reason that triggered the suicide is not yet clear. The daughter of the deceased also came from Sidhi on Monday, but she too did not inform anything about the family problems. We are investigating all aspects and angles,” he added.
