Madison County Sheriff's Office searching for suspect in homicide – WNWS Radio

On June 5, 2024, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Madison County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence in the area of ​​Upper Browns Church Road in eastern Madison County regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a black male victim outside the residence being treated by emergency medical personnel for a gunshot wound.

The victim, Forest Johnson III, 21, later died from his injuries.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division examined the scene and conducted an investigation into the shooting. Through their investigation, they identified Quinterious Long, a 19-year-old black man from Jackson, Tennessee, as the shooter in this incident.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office has issued an arrest warrant for Quinterious Long for reckless homicide.
