Madhya Pradesh: Skeletons found in car identified as missing 'lovers' | Bhopal News

BHOPAL: The two skeletons discovered inside a car pulled from river Kwari in MP Morena on Tuesday have been identified as the remains of Mithlesh and his relative Neeraj Jatav of Ambah town, about 20 km from the scene of the accident.

According to police, the couple were in a relationship and had “eloped” four and a half months ago. Mithlesh's husband Mukesh reported her missing to the Ambah police station soon after she went missing on February 6, 2024. Neeraj's family, however, initially downplayed her absence, saying the couple would return shortly.

The car emerged from the depths when a check dam was opened on Tuesday near Gopi village, about 65 km from Gwalior.
