Machete attack injures man – NBC New York

A search is underway to find a group of people who allegedly stabbed a man with a machete mid-morning Thursday in Times Square, according to police sources familiar with the investigation.

The FDNY said they received a call about a stabbing at West 45th Street and Broadway around 10 a.m. One person was taken to hospital.

According to sources, this person is expected to survive. Sources say he was stabbed in both legs.

New York police are scouring the area for surveillance video in hopes of getting a clearer picture of their suspects. It appears to be three men.
