Reality TV star Maurice Jefferson Scott was arrested over the weekend for driving under the influence.

According to the Madison County Sheriff's official website, the OWN star was arrested around 12:04 Saturday afternoon and was held until approximately 12:19 this morning (Sunday, May 26).

The charge description was titled “DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – OFFENSE (ALCOHOL)” and listed a $5,000 bond. At this time, it does not appear that the lawyer nor his wife have spoken publicly about the arrest.
