During the altercation, other family members arrived, causing the truck to flee. As the truck driver began to drive away, the suspects opened fire, hitting one of the truck's passengers in the head. While the family was transporting their injured family member to LBJ, they were pursued by the suspect vehicle.

The truck eventually crashed and the suspects fired one final shot before fleeing the scene.

The hospital was briefly closed as a precautionary measure, which was lifted once the situation was deemed safe.

The person shot is in critical condition and has been transferred to another hospital. No one else was injured. Police arrested one of the truck's passengers but are still searching for the suspected shooter. If you have any information, please contact HPD.
