LMPD investigates after double shooting near Cane Run Road

The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a double shooting not far from Cane Run Road. According to MetroSafe, it happened in the 4800 block of W Overbrook Drive just after 9:30 p.m.>>Read more news here When officers arrived on scene, MetroSafe said they found two people who had been shot. WLKY has learned that one of the victim's injuries was so critical that the LMPD Homicide Unit is taking the lead in the investigation.
