Liverpool are looking for a defensive midfielder

Liverpool can strengthen their midfield last summer with the additions of Alexis MacAllister, Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo And Dominik Szoboszlai.

However, they still need a better defensive midfielder and Ederson could be the player to fill that void.

The 24-year-old made 52 appearances during the 2023-24 season, helping Atalanta win the Europa League and reach the Coppa Italia final.

In total, Ederson has eight goals and two assists in 89 appearances following his arrival from Salernitana in 2022.
