Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 8 arrests

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to 267 calls for service for the period June 4-11. Since the beginning of the year, LCSO has responded to 5,387 calls for service.

Invocations

Dymond J. Malmstrom, 28, of Bristol, was issued a summons June 5 for violation of conditions of release, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Joseph M. Eaton, 35, of Wiscasset, was booked June 6 for assault at the Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

Alissa A. Sprague, 42, of Damariscotta, was issued a summons June 8 for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, on U.S. Route 1, Nobleboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Jesse Carmichael, 31, of Dresden, was issued a summons June 8 for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Stuart CS Wyman, 33, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons on June 9 for operating after license suspension and violating conditions of release, on River Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Arrests

Catherine A. Lilly, 34, of Dresden, was arrested June 3 for operating under the influence (drug or combo) on Gardiner Road in Dresden by Deputy Justin Drake.

Brandon T. Cookson, 34, of Boothbay, was arrested June 4 for tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, Dodge Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Aaron French, 57, of Damariscotta, was arrested on June 5 for operating under the influence on Bristol Road in Bristol by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Kellen T. Whitney, 24, of Waldoboro, was arrested June 6 for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (x2) and violation of conditions of release, on Atlantic Hwy, Waldoboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Melissa A. Thornton, 42, of Whitefield, was arrested June 8 for domestic violence assault, on Penny Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

Richard D. Levensaler, 40, of Nobleboro, was arrested June 8 on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear during a seafood violation, on Upper East Pond Road, in Nobleboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Corey A. Frizzell, 44, of Boothbay Harbor, was arrested June 9 for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (x4) and violation of conditions of release, on River Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Colby A. Tracy, 31, of Chelsea, was arrested June 10 for operating under the influence – 1 prior and operating beyond license restrictions, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Accidents

On June 4, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Kelly E. Ball, 54, of Charlotte. Ms. Ball was driving her 2022 Subaru WRX eastbound when she saw a deer enter the roadway from the westbound ditch and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigator.

On June 4, an accident occurred on Hodgkins Hill Road in Jefferson, involving Barry D. Sell, 62, of Monroe, Michigan, and Melissa C. Brann, 28, of Bristol. Mr. Sell was driving his 2024 Toyota Corolla northbound, approaching the intersection with Linscott Road, and Ms. Brann was driving her 2016 Ford Fusion southbound on Hodgkins Hill Road. Sell ​​attempted to turn left onto Linscott Road but failed to yield right of way to Brann's vehicle and they collided head-on. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigator.

On June 5, an accident occurred on River Road in Dresden involving Jonathan R. Murray, 48, of Turner. Mr. Murray was driving his 2010 Hyundai Sonata southbound when a deer ran in front of his vehicle and was struck, causing damage to the front of his vehicle. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigator.

On June 5, an accident occurred on Thayer Road in Whitefield involving Jason E. Jarvi, 51, of West Gardiner. Mr. Jarvi was driving his 2004 Jeep Liberty southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck, causing damage to the front of the vehicle. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigator.

On June 5, an accident occurred on U.S. Highway 1 in Nobleboro involving David R. Calais, 59, of Waldoboro. Mr. Calais was driving his 2016 Chevrolet Express van southbound when a deer struck the roadway and was struck, causing front-end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigator.

On June 8, an accident occurred on Calls Hill Road in Dresden involving Joyce Sullivan, 18, of Wiscasset. Ms. Sullivan was driving her 2013 Honda Civic northbound when she entered the curve too quickly. As a result, his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane, nearly striking the witness' vehicle, before overcorrecting, entering the shoulder of the northbound lane and overcorrecting again. Sullivan's vehicle then crossed the center line, entered the southbound lane and continued into the southbound ditch, where it entered the ditch and overturned. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigator.

On June 8, an accident occurred on U.S. Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Sandra J. Wotton, 56, of Jefferson. Wotton was driving her 2006 Mercury Marquis westbound when a deer ran in front of her vehicle and was struck, causing minor front-end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigator.
