Light it up with the new SIG Sauer FOXTROT MSR Weapon Light -The Firearm Blog

SIG Sauer has a new weapon light for long guns. The FOXTROT MSR combines many of today's most popular lighting features at a very competitive price. Keep reading to see what SIG has created.

The new FOXTROT MSR runs on 18650 rechargeable batteries with a battery life of 1.5 hours. CR123A batteries are also a compatible power source. It emits 1,350 lumens and 33,000 candela.

All of this output is controlled by a push button on the back of the device or any SureFire compatible remote switch. SIG includes a band switch, as well as Picatinny and M-LOK attachments. These mounts are compatible with the existing Scout mount ecosystem, so there will be many ways to adapt this light to any long gun.

The main body is made of anodized 6061 aluminum and weighs 3.6 ounces. You won't have to wait for the FOXTROT MSR to hit the market. It's available to order now on the SIG Sauer website for $199.

Allowing for versatile mounting options, the FOXTROT-MSR is Scout Mount compatible and comes with Picatinny and M-Lok mounting interfaces.
