Lexington KY duo Kyle Guindon and Brianna Johnson charged, victim Joshua Bowen identified in toddler's death

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were arrested Saturday morning after a baby was found dead in Lexington.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched around 9:23 a.m. to a home in the 1200 block of Centre Parkway “for a report of an unresponsive infant.”


The Fayette County Coroner announced in a news release that 20-month-old Joshua Bowen was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death is still being determined, pending autopsy results.

Kyle Guindon, 22, and Brianna Johnson, 27, were both arrested at the scene. Authorities have charged both with first-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12. Guindon has also been charged with first-degree assault, which is domestic violence.

According to law enforcement, the investigation is still ongoing.
