Lehigh Acres man sentenced to 110 years in federal prison

A Lehigh Acres man faces more than a century in federal prison, among other things, after admitting to producing and possessing videos and images depicting child sexual abuse.

U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell on Wednesday sentenced Luis Daniel Fuentes, 47, to 110 years in federal prison for producing and possessing videos and images depicting child sexual abuse. Fuentes was also sentenced to life supervised release and was ordered to register as a sex offender, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Fuentes pleaded guilty on February 8.

According to court documents, between approximately August 28, 2020 and September 27 of that year, Fuentes used three minor victims to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
