A 23-year-old Leavenworth man was sentenced to prison after biting a baby. Benjamin Frederick Douglas Oaks will spend the next 32 months in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated battery in February 2024. Court records show a social worker at a Kansas City facility. The hospital notified Leavenworth police that a baby was showing signs of abuse. The bruises were consistent with bite marks.
