Lazio identify Feyenoord talent as possible Kamada replacement – The Laziali

Lazio have started looking for a replacement for Daichi Kamada and have identified Feyenoord midfielder Mats Wieffer as an interesting option.

The Biancocelesti had hoped to tie the Japanese midfielder to a new long-term contract, but they failed to agree terms for the player, who was pushing for a weak release clause in the new deal. As such, he will leave on a free transfer this summer.

Meanwhile, Lazio are working to complete a deal for Salernitana striker Loum Tchaouna and have also set their sights on Hellas Verona's Tijjani Noslin, but it is clear that a handful of reinforcements will be needed in the center of the pitch.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are evaluating a possible move for Feyenoord midfielder Wieffer, who has continued to impress in the Eredivisie over the past two years.

The 24-year-old, who is under contract with the Dutch club until June 2027, is valued at around €20 million, but the club's interest in Gustav Isaksen could help reduce the costs of a deal.
