Large commercial fire breaks out in Pittsburgh

(KRON) — A large commercial fire broke out Sunday afternoon in Pittsburg, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said in an article on X. Crews responded to a fire around 4:40 p.m. at 2225 John Henry Johnson Pkwy.

The fire was initially reported to be 10 acres. However, as of 5:30 p.m., the fire had since grown to 40 acres, according to Con Fire.


As of 6:15 p.m., the fire was 40 percent contained. Progress stopped at 50 acres, officials said.

No injuries have been reported at this time. No further information was immediately available.
