Large brawl in Northern California results in fatal shooting, stabbings

(FOX40.COM) — A large fight in Northern California Saturday afternoon led to a shooting that left one man dead and several people stabbed, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the fight happened near Lake Berryessa on Knoxville Road in Napa around 5:30 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a man with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead moments later.

Two stabbed people were airlifted to a local hospital, the sheriff's office said. Other stabbing victims were taken to hospital by people who knew them.

There are currently no suspects in this fatal incident and no arrests have been made at this time. Deputies said they also had no information on what started the fight.

“Due to the scale and nature of the incident, the Napa County Sheriff's Office will receive assistance from the Napa County Major Crimes Task Force,” the sheriff's office said.
