Laramie County Sheriff's Office prepares for national night

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is preparing for National Night Out, an annual community development campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

This year's celebration will take place on Tuesday, August 6.

“People and businesses are sponsoring meals,” LCSO said in a Facebook post Thursday afternoon.

“Attending or hosting one of these events is a great way to get to know others in your area and the deputies who serve our community,” the post reads.

Those interested in hosting an event are encouraged to call Public Information Officer Brandon Warner at 307-633-4751.

“We will post details of events in Laramie County on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page as plans are finalized,” Warner told KGAB Radio.

This year marks the 41st annual National Night Out, and the second year the LCSO will participate in the celebration.
