Lane restrictions on I-10 near Chandler, Monday through Wednesday

Drivers traveling on I-10 in the Wild Horse Pass corridor should plan for lane restrictions Monday through Wednesday, June 17-19.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan for nighttime lane restrictions on I-10 as work continues on bridges over the Gila River.

The construction of these new bridges is part of the I-10 Wild Horse Pass corridor projects.

From 9 p.m. Monday, June 17, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, the left lane of I-10 eastbound will be closed near the Gila River Bridges (mileposts 172-173).

From 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, westbound I-10 will have the left lane closed) near the bridges.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, drive with caution and reduce speed when passing through the construction work zone.

The speed limit in the work zone is 55 mph.
