Man sentenced in shooting of 15-year-old in Lancaster

A man was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for his role in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Lancaster, according to the district attorney's office. Sackiwa Ntuli, 19, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering another person and discharging a firearm. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head on January 7, 2023, in the 100 block of Dauphin Street. The person survived. Co-defendant Charles Freeman, 16, pleaded guilty in February and was also sentenced to five to 10 years in prison. A third co-defendant, Jose Ramos, has a pending case.
