A large fire destroyed a Lancaster County chicken coop early Sunday morning. The fire lit up the sky along the 2700 block of Shoemaker Road in Rapho Township. Crews were able to bring the fire under control around 3:30 a.m. However, the damage is significant. No injuries were reported. It is not known if any animals were injured. The fire remains under investigation.
