Deputies arrested Hernández-Estrada three times on suspicion of violations related to narcotics sales, according to Sgt. Jarrod Meissen, but it is unclear why he was released each time.

Deputies worked with members of the Inland Violent Crime Task Force and obtained a federal indictment against Hernandez-Estrada. On Thursday he was arrested. Deputies allegedly found evidence of possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

Officers reportedly seized approximately 120 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of methamphetamine, 61 grams of heroin, 217 Xanax pills and 42 oxycodone pills.

Hernandez-Estrada was taken to a federal detention center under the indictment.
