Lake Elmo woman with dementia goes missing

LAKE ELMO, Minn. — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) partnered with the Washington County Sheriff's Office to find a missing 71-year-old woman suffering from dementia.

According to a release from the BCA, Sandra “Sandy” Brogren, of Lake Elmo, left her home in the 9000 block of North 55th Street on Thursday, May 23, and has not been seen since. Officials said Brogren lives with dementia and is “somewhat non-verbal.”

The BCA reported that Brogren left on foot and was wearing a white shirt with dark horizontal stripes and black pants and shoes. She is described as 5'3 and 130 pounds with brown/gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Brogren's whereabouts is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 651-439-9381.
