Private Selection is a store brand sold exclusively at Kroger and its subsidiaries.

One of the products sold by the brand is ice cream, including the Maine Blueberry Belgian Waffle Cone flavor.

However, one shopper who purchased a jar was shocked to discover that the advertised blueberry component in theirs was missing.

She photographed the contents of the jar and showed via an X post how the ice cream was missing the blueberry swirl seen on the packaging.

The customer said she was normally a big fan of the brand, but couldn't understand what was wrong with this tub.

“Unfortunately, my pint of blueberry waffle cone was missing something. Blueberries!” she wrote.

“I wonder how that happened.”

I love Kroger Private Selection ice cream! Unfortunately, something was missing from my pint of blueberry waffle cone. Blueberries! I wonder how that happened.

Kroger customer through

Kroger stepped in to respond.

“We are very sorry to see this,” they wrote.

The grocer asked his customer to contact him for more information so he could take a look.

Kroger plans to launch new benefits for its customers as it tries to compete with Amazon: It will save you $140 a year.

MORE KROGER COMPLAINTS

However, the absence of an ice cream ingredient isn't the only cause of Kroger shoppers' complaints lately.

The grocer's home delivery service recently left another customer angry after paying more for their groceries than expected.

“On delivery notes, you must notify the customer if an item is no longer on sale or if a coupon is in the cart before purchasing,” he wrote on X.

“I paid 30% more today because I didn't realize your weekly prices change at midnight on Wednesday.”

However, the customer was refunded for these items and Kroger apologized.

CHECKED

Other shoppers shared their frustration with the store's use of self-checkouts.

One was recently outraged to learn that only self-checkout was available at their local Kroger during a busy shopping period.

“They wouldn't even know if I left without paying, but I wouldn't do that,” he wrote on X.

Other customers are upset that self-checkouts can no longer be muted at Kroger.

And find out why some shoppers hate a recent policy change affecting the use of self-checkouts at Walmart.
