Kootenai County Sheriff's Office searches for missing woman – Dailyfly

UPDATE: Linda was located by a resident at her ranch in the 14000 block of Tamarack Ridge Road. This is several miles from his last known location, but within the general Cataldo area. Linda was transported by medical staff to Kootenai Health to be treated for dehydration and reunited with her family. Thank you to all citizens who called with information regarding this matter.

On June 16, 2024, at approximately 8:51 p.m., deputies from the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office responded to Old Mission State Park in Cataldo in reference to a missing woman. Family reported that Linda Kent, 62, went missing while visiting the park. She was last seen near the boat ramp.

Linda is approximately 5'09″, weighs approximately 180 pounds and has silver hair. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie and green pants. According to her family, Linda suffers from dementia and may be unresponsive immediately if contacted.

Deputies used forward looking infrared (FLIR), drones, search and rescue dogs and watercraft to attempt to locate Linda. ABLE 1 was also called to assist. KCSO search and rescue volunteers were dispatched to the scene and have since resumed search efforts.
