According to a press release from the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, 14-year-old Fallon Murdock was found “unconscious in a bathtub and surrounded by misery” on March 30, 2023.

Murdock died at Sky Lakes Medical Center, according to the release, and ruled her cause of death to be medically negligent homicide.

According to a press release from the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Murdock, 25, and Karana Murdock, 32, face charges of first-degree manslaughter, first-degree criminal mistreatment, strangulation, harassment and five counts of endangerment. the well-being of a minor.

“On June 5, 2024, Christopher and Karana Murdock were arrested and booked into the Klamath County Jail without bail,” the release said.
