Kissimmee police officer arrested on child pornography charges

A Kissimmee Police Department officer was arrested after soliciting nude photos from a minor in exchange for payment, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said Dariel Quiles-Davilaw, 25, was assigned as an officer to the patrol division and was arrested. hired on March 8, 2021, but has now been relieved of duty. Deputies said they were notified by the Ninth Judicial Circuit State's Attorney's Office of a case involving a law enforcement officer who was soliciting a minor for nude photographs in exchange for payment. Detectives began investigating the allegations and, after meeting with the victim in the case and obtaining statements, were able to identify the suspect. Deputies said Quiles-Davilaw met the victim in October 2023 during a call for service. Detectives searched the social media accounts of both the victim and the suspect, where they were able to confirm that Quiles-Davilaw had pornographic photographs of the minor and evidence of payments and sexual conversations with the minor. Quiles-Davila is now charged with 8 counts of Possession of Photo/Video of a Sexual Performance by a Child1 count of Solicitation of a Minor for Unlawful Sexual ConductUnlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication DeviceQuiles-Davila is currently incarcerated in the Osceola County Jail without bail.

A Kissimmee Police Department officer was arrested after soliciting nude photos from a minor in exchange for money, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Dariel Quiles-Davilaw, 25, was assigned as an officer to the patrol division and was hired on March 8, 2021, but has now been relieved of duty.

Deputies said they were notified by the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office of a case involving a law enforcement officer soliciting a minor for nude photographs in exchange for payment.

Detectives began investigating the allegations and, after meeting with the victim and obtaining statements, were able to identify the suspect.

Deputies said Quiles-Davilaw met the victim in October 2023 during a call for service.

Detectives searched the social media accounts of the victim and the suspect, where they were able to confirm that Quiles-Davilaw had pornographic photographs of the minor and evidence of payments and sexual conversations with the minor.

Quiles-Davila is now accused of:

  • 8 counts of possession of photo/video of a sexual performance by a child
  • 1 count of solicitation of a minor for unlawful sexual conduct
  • Illegal use of a two-way communications device

Quiles-Davila is currently incarcerated in the Osceola County Jail without bond.
