Kolhapur: Two women and a minor (10 years) who died after being hit by a Mumbai-Kolhapur Koyna Express on Friday, were identified by their relatives on Sunday. The deceased include Sakina Chandan Mujawar (40), her elder daughter Firdos (22) and younger daughter Alisha (10), from Bhone Nagar area of ​​Ichalkaranji. The victims were rushed to Chhatrapati Pramilatai Raje (CPR) Hospital after the incident. Chandan Shabshuddin Mujawar (45), Sakina's husband, works as a bicycle mechanic. He could only identify Alisha because the bodies of his wife and eldest daughter were unrecognizable. Police suspect it was either an accident or suicide. Ajay Sindkar, police inspector of Shahupuri police station, said, “So far, we have not found any eyewitnesses to the incident. So we can't pretend that one thing happened or another thing happened. We are investigating the matter. » He told the police that he went to the Ichalkaranji police station and lodged a missing complaint on Friday evening. He told cops that the three left Ichalkaranji in the afternoon to go to Kolhapur for shopping. Chandan and Sakina have three daughters. The third daughter is currently taking a printing course.
