Kidnapping suspect arrested after holding victim hostage in San Francisco Bay Area home

An armed suspect suspected of kidnapping a woman and holding her hostage at a Vallejo residence was arrested Sunday.

Cordell Milton Shaw, 26, was taken into custody June 30 and charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement, domestic battery, criminal threats, damaging a wireless communication device to hinder aid and carrying a loaded and stolen firearm after the Vallejo Police Department received a report that a victim was being held inside a residence in the 100 block of Maher Court by an armed adult male suspect.
