Kentwood police search for missing 17-year-old

Police said Cecilia Tedders left Saturday around 2 p.m. She would have an intellectual disability and would not have her medication.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — The Kentwood Police Department is asking for help finding a missing 17-year-old girl.

Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of 36th Street SE, near Shaffer Avenue, around 4:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of a missing person.

Cecilia Tedders, 17, left on foot around 2 p.m. Saturday and has not been seen since.

Police said she was believed to be intellectually disabled and did not have her medication.

Tedders is approximately 5 feet tall with reddish brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she was last seen wearing a blue denim jumpsuit, a yellow shirt, white tennis shoes and white socks. They said she might also have a brownish plaid backpack.
