(NewsNation) — Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help in searching for an eight-month-old baby.

Police said Miya Tucker, of Reynolds Station Kentucky, was not located during a welfare check and search of a motel room where she was found in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

His mother, Tesla Tucker, 29, was arrested and faces several charges, including abandonment of a minor. His father, Cage C. Rudd, 30, was also arrested and charged at the same time.

Another adult, Ricky Smith, was arrested on the same charges.

Miya Tucker was last known to be in her parents' custody, but police said they were unable to find her during a welfare check. Family members said they hadn't seen the baby since early May.

Police described the parents as uncooperative and said it was possible the child was in the care of other family members.

Tucker has brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information should call Kentucky State Police at 270-826-3312.
