School administrators haven't said how the alligator got away, but again, it's just a little guy. It's only 35cm long and its mouth is taped shut. IS IT GETTING BIGGER? AT THE MINUTE, DONNA? KC Pet Project is calling off its ground search for a missing alligator near Lakeview Middle School. They have been looking for him since last Thursday, without success. The 14-inch-long alligator was part of a petting zoo at school when it disappeared with its mouth closed. If you see the alligator, call KC Pet Project at 816-683-1373 or fill out a form here. An outside company brought the alligator to the school for an end-of-year celebration, KC Pet Project said.
