Juventus make bold move on Montenegrin teenager

Juventus are preparing to welcome Vasilije Adžić for the pre-season as Montenegrin talent joins them this summer.

The 18-year-old is considered his country's top talent and Juve quickly agreed a deal for his signature. He is now set to start the next campaign as a Juventus player, with the Bianconeri hoping he will become their latest teenage sensation.

Thiago Motta is backed by the players the club can afford, but he is also expected to continue the trend of giving youngsters the chance to play often. This is one of the reasons why Adžić chose to join the Bianconeri, and if he impresses in pre-season he should immediately get a first-team opportunity.

A report on Tutomercatoweb claims the midfielder is not qualified as an EU player, but Juventus are willing to sacrifice one of their two non-EU places for him in their squad. He will move back and forth between the first team and the Next Gen team, but Juve expect him to train frequently with the first team.

Juve FC says

Giving one of our non-EU places to Adžić shows that we truly consider him one of the best talents in the world.

We hope to give him a chance to play in the first team as long as he proves his worth.
