Justin Timberlake's Alleged Conversation With Cop During His Arrest

In the early hours of Tuesday, June 18, Justin Timberlake was arrested for DWI after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, New York. People reports. Now, hours after the incident, Timberlake has not only been released, but sources are speaking out about what really happened.

According to sources from Page six, it all happened after Timberlake left the hotel “with a group of friends” to discover that “there were cops stationed outside where he was dining.” After Timberlake left in his car, it didn't take long for him to be pulled over and arrested by police.

According to the outlet, Timberlake was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two other traffic violations: failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to stay in an appropriate lane.

But before anyone applauds the police for following the law and not treating him like the celebrity he is, you might want to think again. In fact, according to sources, the officer who arrested Timberlake was “so young he didn't even know” who he was. Seems like the NSYNC days are long gone, right?

“He didn’t recognize him or his name,” our source added.

Instead, the conversation between Timberlake and the cop was a routine conversation, with the officer requesting a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer. Despite the field sobriety test, Timberlake refused the breathalyzer test.

“His friends were telling the police: ‘Let him go, let him go,’” a source told the media.

Unsurprisingly, Timberlake, who is currently on the “Forget Tomorrow” world tour to promote his latest album, Everything I thought it was, was equally unhappy with the situation. “Justin said under his breath, 'This is going to ruin the tour,'” a source said. “The cop said, 'What tour?' Justin said: “The world tour. » » It looks like the cop Really I had no idea who the star of “Cry Me a River” was.

“He was a gentleman,” the second source told the outlet of Timberlake's composure throughout the arrest. “He showed no right at all. He refused the tests, but that's his right.

Mostly, it seems Timberlake was worried about what the arrest would mean for the tour and possibly his career. But, with his release this Tuesday morning, it appears he will have plenty of time to recover before his next concert Friday in Chicago.
