Justin Timberlake gives speech at first concert after DWI arrest

Justin Timberlake shared a heartfelt message to his fans during his first concert after being arrested for alleged drunk driving in the Hamptons.

“We've been through ups and downs, left and right. It's been a tough week, but you're here and I'm here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” the singer-actor told the Chicago audience as they erupted in joy, according to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Timberlake's tour stop Friday at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, was the “Can't Stop the Feeling!” the singer's first performance since his arrest by local police in Sag Harbor, New York, early Tuesday morning. He was reportedly indicted for drunk driving before being released without bail.

A law enforcement officer arrested the artist and “determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle while intoxicated.” Mr. Timberlake was placed under arrest, processed and held overnight for his morning arraignment,” according to a police statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week.
