Justin Timberlake Apparently Jokes About Being Arrested for DUI at Boston Concert

Justin Timberlake continues to allude to his recent DWI arrest during his Forget Tomorrow world tour.

At his Saturday night concert at TD Garden in Boston, Timberlake addressed the crowd and asked, “So, is there anybody here tonight who's driving?”

While the audience could be heard laughing videos of the moment posted on social media, Timberlake quickly followed up by insisting: “I'm kidding.”

Then he got serious.

“Is anyone here tonight, is it your first time here for the show?” Has anyone here been to one, two, three, maybe four of our shows? “, he asked the crowd, according to People.

“For all of you, this is your first time tonight – on a serious note – I hope you feel the camaraderie and the love,” he said, according to Peoplebefore addressing his longtime fans. “For those of you who have followed me through all these weird haircuts… don't act like you don't have bad haircuts! I got one for the team. Maybe three or four for the team, but who's counting? But we've been together for almost three decades, guys.”

Timberlake was arrested for alleged drunken driving in Sag Harbor, New York on June 18. According to a police statement, the superstar musician was “observed driving a BMW 2025 southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a properly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his or her lane of travel.” »

A Sag Harbor police officer arrested Timberlake and “determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle while intoxicated.” He was arraigned and released ahead of his next court appearance, set for July 26.

The pop star previously hinted at his legal issues during his first concert since his arrest, at the United Center in Chicago on June 21.

“We’ve been through the ups and downs, the setbacks and the setbacks together. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” Timberlake said at the time, according to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter).

“I know sometimes I'm hard to love, but you continue to love me and I love you back,” he added during the Chicago show. ” Thank you so much ! »
