Jordan Williams misses remaining 2024 World Cups after suffering knee injury

Jordan Williams has announced his 2024 season is over after rupturing his ACL and LCL in a minor accident at Val di Sole.

In his social media post about the injury, Williams said: “Turns out I joined the knee injury squad, and I completely tore my ACL and my LCL also caused some damage to my meniscus.” With her season over after just three rounds of racing, Williams plans to have surgery soon so she can fight again next year: “A long way to go, but I'm not afraid and I'll come out of this in in good shape next year! The operation must be carried out so I will have it soon.

Well, unfortunately my season is over for 2024. It's definitely not what I expected this week, but things happen for a reason and I have to use that to be better for the future.

Turns out I joined the knee injury team, and I completely tore my ACL and my LCL also caused damage to my meniscus.

From a simple kick, I'd say it's a good effort. A long way to go but I'm not afraid and I'll come out of it in great shape next year! Surgery needs to be done, so I'll have it soon.

So lucky to have the people and team around me that I do and I'm sure the recovery will go well!

We wish Jordan all the best with his surgery and recovery. We hope he will be back on the bike and racing soon.
