JOAQUIN PHOENIX'S NEW TEENAGE GIRLFRIEND

It's a classic Hollywood dating scenario between an older man and a younger woman. Except in this case, it's 39-year-old actor Joaquin Phoenix dating 19-year-old DJ Allie Teilz.

Yes, that's right, the Oscar-nominated actor's new girlfriend is still a teenager.

The couple were spotted looking very much in love this week in Rome, holding hands as they took in the view. Joaquin is currently promoting his latest film “Her,” including a stop at the Rome Film Festival.

Despite Allie's young age, she has been in the music business for a few years, having started while she was still in high school.

“When I was younger, I worked in production for stadium shows in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, and I did artist relations for pop stars,” she recently told Bullett magazine. “On Thursdays after school, I would go from school to the airport, fly to Las Vegas, work shows from Friday at 6 a.m. to Sunday at 2 a.m., before school.”

“I had a complete double life and I was lying about my age, obviously, but I was really getting involved in the music world and starting to meet people.”

It is not yet known how long the couple have been dating.
