Jeezy's Ex-Fiancée and Nanny Defends Him Against Jeannie Mai's Abuse Allegations

Amid Jeezy's ongoing battle against abuse allegations filed by his estranged wife, Jeannie May, the Atlanta rapper received support from his ex-fiancée and nanny. Both filed affidavits defending his reputation.

According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX on June 7, Mahlet Gebremedhin, the mother of Jeezy's eldest daughter Amra, praised him as a devoted father. “I have seen Jay be a dedicated, caring and present father to our daughter and her oldest child (son Jadarius),” Gebremedhin said. “At no time was Jay physically, mentally or emotionally abusive to his children or me. »

Minhee Hoffler, Jeezy's nanny, echoed these sentiments. “As a guardian, I believe Mr. Jenkins is giving his daughters the support they need to become young women in the future,” Hoffler wrote. “Mr. Jenkins is a hard-working person, but he is even more of a hard-working father.

Additionally, Robyn Wallace, a friend, and Shelley Nichols, whose husband is Jeezy's close friend and real estate broker, also filed similar complaints supporting the rapper.

Jeannie Mai, however, maintains her position, claiming that Jeezy mistreated her during their marriage. His representative told Page Six: “It appears that Mr. Jenkins is once again attempting to distort the truth by employing individuals to file false statements and allegations against Ms. Mai, attempting to contradict real-time evidence and events. factual. We look forward to presenting all the evidence in court.

Previously, Jeezy submitted WhatsApp conversations between him and Mai, where she shared her ovulation calendar, suggesting that she wanted to have another child with him. Jeezy used these messages to claim that Mai's abuse allegations began when he rejected her attempts to conceive again.

Mai first accused Jeezy of abuse in court documents filed on April 24. She alleged that Jeezy subjected her to physical abuse and neglected their child during an incident in December 2022.
