JCPD: Man charged with murder after fatally stabbing another man | WJHL

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Police have charged a man with second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing a man to death.

According to the Johnson City Police Department, officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 3 a.m. Sunday at a Heritage Park home at 2701 S. Roan Street.


Police arrived and found a man dead inside the home.

Investigators determined that Jamie Estuardo-Castinadas, 28, also known as Jamie Estuardo-Lopez, stabbed the victim, according to police.

Police are awaiting confirmation of the victim's identity before releasing his name.

Estuardo-Castinadas was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
