Jay Slater updates: Father describes 'hell' as footage shows teen at club before disappearance

Jay Slater's last known movements have been mapped as the desperate search for the missing teenager continues for a sixth day in Tenerife.

Police, sniffer dogs, firefighters and volunteers were among those who gathered again on Saturday to continue the hunt as fears grew for the British teenager.

The father of missing British teenager Jay Slater described his ordeal as “hell” as the search for his son in Tenerife entered its second week.

Speaking to reporters in Santiago del Teide, about 4 miles from the search area, Warren Slater said: “I just want him to be found. »

“Someone must know something.”

Despite the efforts of specialist dog teams and police focusing on the rugged terrain of rural Teno National Park, the search has been likened to “looking for a needle in a haystack”.

Jay Slater was spotted dancing at a nightclub hours before he went missing, footage has shown.

The 19-year-old was seen at the Papagayo club in Playa de las Américas early Monday, according to an eyewitness who recorded the scene.
