Jay Slater's mother makes desperate appeal to search for missing teenager in Tenerife

Jay Slater was filmed making his way through a packed nightclub in footage shared on social media.

Hours later he was seen walking alone in the mountains of Tenerife. It has been revealed that two Britons renting the property where he was last seen have now returned to the UK.

Andy Watson, the long-term partner of Jay Slater's mother Debbie Duncan, confirmed that the person in the nightclub footage was the 19-year-old.

Local cafe worker Araceli, who works at the business next to the rental property where Jay Slater was last seen, told the Mirror: 'I never saw the missing boy, but I know people saw him walking alone. I saw the two British people who stayed here.

“They came for a café con leche on several occasions.

“The police spoke to both of them. They arrived on Saturday and were supposed to stay until Monday, but left on Tuesday.

Mr Slater was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with shorts and trainers, and his phone shows his last location: Teno Rural Park.
