Deranged Jared Ravizza is the prime suspect in the murder of his roommate and his dogs, who were found by police Saturday afternoon while the maniac went on a stabbing spree in Massachusetts.

Connecticut police confirmed that Bruce Feldman, 70, of West Hartford, was found dead Saturday at a Deep River vacation home he recently shared with Ravizza.

They also confirmed Ravizza, 26, was with Bruce earlier in the day and found his belongings at the scene. Residents told the Post that there was a disturbance Saturday and police were called, leading to the discovery of Feldman's body.

By then, Ravizza had fled to Massachusetts and was arrested later that day after stabbing four children at a Massachusetts movie theater and two at a McDonald's.

Cybersecurity consultant Charlie Brashears, 54, lives next door and said: “I asked the cops if we were safe and they said 'the attacker was out of state and had been captured.'

Stabbing suspect Jared Ravizza (right) rented a house in Connecticut with Bruce Feldman, 70, known for walking around his poodle, Lily.

“The police asked me to identify the Porsche Macan that had been in an accident and yes, that was the car that was coming and going from here.”

Connecticut police confirmed Tuesday that the investigation into Deep River's death remains active and ongoing, with criminal charges against Ravizza currently pending.

Bruce's family were shocked and devastated by the news of his sudden death.

His partner Julie Feldman, of West Hartford, fought back tears as she told the Post: “This whole thing is really shocking…We've been together for a long, long time.” »

It is not known how Feldman and Ravizza knew each other or came to live together in the house, where they had stayed between two and three weeks according to residents.

Brashears told the Post that Feldman once described himself as Ravizza's friend and then as her father. He added that he owned a gray poodle named Lily and another black dog, which he believed Ravizza had killed.

“My understanding is that he stabbed the dogs to death,” Brashears said.

“Bruce was an odd duck. Jared obviously had a clear idea [mental health] to break.”

Ravizza was arraigned Tuesday on charges of stabbing four girls at a movie theater and two employees at a McDonald's in Massachusetts. P.A.

Feldman allegedly got into an argument with two of his neighbors Saturday when they found him sitting on their porch while one of his dogs ran around their house on Merriwold Lane, Brashears said.

Feldman left after the women threatened to call police for trespassing, but officials said their home was then targeted by an anonymous suspect who threw a shovel through the glass of their front door around 3:36 p.m.

Officers investigating the incident were led to the home of Feldman and Ravizza, where they were confronted with the grisly scene.

Another neighbor, Joe Ostering, identified Ravizza as the man who threw the shovel at the women's home, suggesting the incident was the trigger for Saturday's bloody events.

“I don’t know if it was before or after he killed Bruce. That’s how it all started,” Ostering told the Post. “Then he left here and went to the movies.”

Connecticut police were searching for Ravizza, who would be arrested three hours later after allegedly stabbing four girls, ages 9 to 17, at an AMC movie theater in Braintree before going to a McDonald's in Plymouth and stabbing two employees there.

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, but they received medical treatment, police said.

Ravizza was arraigned in court for the series of stabbings Tuesday morning, but he has not yet been charged with anything related to the Connecticut killing.

Officials said the investigation into Feldman's killing was still ongoing and criminal charges were still pending as of Tuesday afternoon. Police have not commented on what happened to Feldman's dogs.

An attorney for Ravizza could not immediately be reached for comment.
